I’ve had one of those careers that looks linear in hindsight and utterly improvised up close. I was a joint owner of a niche boutique healthcare marketing agency, Hyderus, which was acquired in February 2023 by FINN Partners, a large, independent, integrated global marketing agency. What initially felt like a seismic shift quickly became a natural evolution—and one I’ve embraced wholeheartedly.
Today, FINN Partners feels less like a “new workplace” and more like an ecosystem: curious, ambitious, values-driven, and unapologetically global. I work alongside talented colleagues across regions and disciplines in an agency consistently recognised as one of PRovoke’s Best Agencies to Work For. My clients span global public health, life sciences, and sustainability, and their work—whether in policy, prevention, or access to care—shapes lives at scale. That sense of consequence is what keeps the work meaningful.
At the core of what I do now is content creation as a strategic discipline. I write long- and short-form pieces, produce and appear in videos, and develop podcasts for both clients and my own platforms, using storytelling to make complex health and policy issues intelligible without flattening them. Much of this work sits at the intersection of climate change and global public health, where environmental pressure, inequality, and health outcomes collide. I’m especially interested in how evidence, narrative, and trust influence public understanding and decision-making—and how communications can move debates from awareness to action while retaining intellectual honesty.
Now, as a Senior Partner and EMEA Public Health Co-Lead in FINN Partners’ Global Health Practice, my focus is firmly on impact. I work at the intersection of public health, sustainability, and communications, helping organisations navigate complexity, earn trust, and deliver outcomes that matter—particularly where climate and health intersect in real, human terms rather than abstract models.
Outside of work, I try to practise mindfulness with varying degrees of success. A line from Anne Lamott remains a reliable anchor:
“Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes… including you.”
Beyond my professional life, one of my most important roles is as a Rotarian. I’m a member of the Rotary Hub of Ireland and serve as District 1160’s PolioPlus representative—doing my small part to help finish what may become only the second disease ever eradicated by humankind.
